Tower Builder is a one-tap building game. A crane swings each new floor back and forth over your tower, and you tap to let it go. Land it on the floor below to keep building; line it up exactly for a perfect drop, and three perfect drops in a row pay a big combo bonus. Floors that miss the tower fall to the street and cost one of your three lives. The higher you build, the faster the crane swings, and the sky turns from blue to sunset, to night and finally to the stars.

How to play
Tap, click or press Space to drop the swinging floor.
Land it on top of the tower; a floor that misses costs one life.
Drop it exactly in line with the floor below for a perfect drop.
You have three lives. Build as high as you can.
Tips
Watch the crane, not the floor: drop when it is just over the tower.
The crane is slowest at the ends of its swing, so it is easier to time near the edges.
Perfect drops keep the tower straight; off-centre floors make it sway.

Why people love Tower Builder
Casual games are about fun without commitment. Tower Builder can be understood in seconds and enjoyed in a minute, yet it still rewards attention and good decisions. It is the kind of game you can play with a cup of tea, pass to a friend, or use to reset your mind between tasks. The light rules make it welcoming for every age, and the short rounds mean it never outstays its welcome.
The objective
Drop each swinging floor onto the top of your tower. A floor that misses falls to the street and costs one of your three lives. Build as high as you can.
Background: where Tower Builder comes from
Tower Builder looks like a reflex game, but the players who build the tallest towers are the ones who learn the rhythm of the crane. This guide explains how the swing works, how perfect drops and combos score, and how to keep your three lives for as long as possible.

The controls are the same on every level and in every mode, so once they feel natural you can focus fully on the game. Keyboard players get the most precise control, while touch players get large, thumb-friendly buttons.
Your first game of Tower Builder
Press the Play button under the game title. Tower Builder loads in a few seconds and starts in full screen on phones.
Step 1. Tap, click or press Space to drop the swinging floor. Take your time on the first attempt and get a feel for how the game responds.
Step 2. Land it on top of the tower; a floor that misses costs one life.
Step 3. Drop it exactly in line with the floor below for a perfect drop.
Step 4. You have three lives. Build as high as you can. That is the whole loop. Every game of Tower Builder follows this pattern, with new situations each time.
On a keyboard you can use Space to drop the floor, Down arrow to drop the floor. Remember the objective: Drop each swinging floor onto the top of your tower. Once that is clear, every decision becomes easier, because you can ask whether a move brings you closer to it.
Tower Builder strategy
Watch the hook, not the floor
The floor hangs from the hook, so its position is the hook's position. Keep your eyes on the hook and the top of the tower, and release when the two line up.
Use the slow ends of the swing
The crane moves fastest in the middle of its swing and slows down at each end. If the tower is off centre, wait for the swing to reach that side and drop as it slows.
Chain perfect drops
A perfect drop is worth 50 points; from the third perfect drop in a row each one is worth 100. One sloppy floor resets the chain, so a careful drop beats a fast one.
Keep the tower straight
Off-centre floors make the tower sway and move the target. Perfect drops snap into line and calm the sway.

Common mistakes and how to fix them
Tapping as soon as a floor appears
The new floor needs a moment to swing into place. Wait for one full swing to read the speed before you drop.
Chasing the swing
Following the floor with your eyes makes you late. Pick the drop point first and wait for the floor to arrive.
Levels, difficulty and progression
The crane swings wider and faster as the tower grows, and the sky changes from day to sunset, night and finally space, so you always know how high you are. We rate Tower Builder as easy to learn (2 out of 5), with a typical session of 2 to 6 minutes per game.
What Tower Builder trains
Tower Builder is designed to be picked up at any time and enjoyed in 2 to 6 minutes per game. It is light on rules but still rewards timing, rhythm, focus, which makes it a good match for players of all ages. Casual games are a pleasant way to rest your mind while still giving it something to do. Because rounds are short, you can play one round between tasks without losing track of time.
How to practise and improve
Improvement in Tower Builder comes quickly with a little attention. Pick one idea from the tips on this page, use it for a few rounds and see what changes. Short, regular sessions are better than long ones.
Playing on phone, tablet and computer
Tower Builder runs directly in your web browser on phones, tablets, laptops and desktop computers. There is nothing to install and no account needed. On a phone, the game adapts its controls to touch, with large buttons and swipe gestures sized for thumbs. On a computer, you can use the mouse and keyboard, which many players find more precise. Tablets give you the best of both: a big screen with touch controls. For the smoothest experience, close other heavy tabs, keep your browser up to date, and use the fullscreen button in the game bar. If you play on a phone with a small screen, turning it sideways usually gives you a wider view. The game saves your progress and best scores in your browser, so playing on the same device keeps your records.
Playing alone and sharing scores
Tower Builder is a single-player game, which means you can play at your own pace whenever you like. Your best score and progress are saved on your device, so every session builds on the last. It also makes a fun challenge to share: play a round, tell your friends your score, and see who can beat it. Many families pass a tablet around and take turns, which turns a solo game into a group activity.
Goals for every level of player
Beginner
Learn the controls and the objective, and finish a full game of Tower Builder without rushing. Watch the crane, not the floor: drop when it is just over the tower. Do not worry about winning yet; focus on understanding why things happen.
Intermediate
Start using the first two strategy ideas on this page: watch the hook, not the floor and use the slow ends of the swing. Try to avoid the common mistakes listed above, and notice when you make them.
Advanced
Combine every idea: chain perfect drops and keep the tower straight. Chase a personal best you thought was out of reach, and think a step further ahead than your opponent.
Accessibility and comfort settings
Tower Builder is designed to be comfortable for as many people as possible. Every button is large enough for touch, text uses high-contrast colours on a dark background, and important information is shown with both colour and shape or text, so the game stays readable for players with colour vision differences. Sound can be switched off with the speaker button at any time, and no part of the game depends on hearing. The fullscreen button removes distractions and makes everything larger on small screens. If you prefer playing with one hand, the touch controls work with a single thumb, and most actions can also be done with a mouse or keyboard alone.
Tracking your progress
Your progress in Tower Builder is saved automatically in your browser. Your best score appears under the title on the game page, and level-based games keep your stars and unlocked levels. Because records live on this device, clearing your browser data or using private browsing will reset them. To track improvement, note your best score each week and compare. Small, steady increases are a sign that the strategies on this page are working.
