Candy Blast is a colourful match-3 puzzle with 5,000 hand-tuned generated levels. Swap two neighbouring candies to line up three or more of the same kind. Match four to make a striped candy that clears a whole row or column, make an L or T shape for a wrapped candy that explodes, and match five in a line for a choco bomb that wipes out every candy of one colour. Swap two specials together for huge combos. Every level has a goal and a move limit: reach a score, clear all the pink jelly, smash the frosting blocks or collect a number of chosen candies. Locked candies, double jelly, thick frosting, odd-shaped boards and boss levels every 25 levels make the game harder the further you go, through ten candy worlds from Candy Meadow to Bubblegum City. Moves you have left at the end turn into bonus striped candies for a sweet finale.
How to play
Drag a candy onto its neighbour, or tap one candy and then its neighbour, to swap them.
Make a line of three or more matching candies to clear them.
Complete the goals shown at the top before you run out of moves.
Match 4 for a striped candy, an L or T for a wrapped candy and 5 in a row for a choco bomb.
Earn up to three stars on each level. Your progress is saved on this device.
Tips
Make matches near the bottom of the board: falling candies often create free combos.
Save specials and swap two of them together for giant blasts.
On jelly levels, aim specials at the corners and edges, which are hardest to reach.
Frosting breaks when you match next to it, so plan matches around it.
If you are stuck, wait a few seconds: a hint wiggles a possible move.

Why people love Candy Blast
Puzzle games offer a special kind of satisfaction: the moment a problem that looked impossible suddenly makes sense. Candy Blast is full of those moments. Each level is a small, self-contained challenge with a clear answer, and the difficulty builds gently so you are always learning. There is no time pressure unless you want it, which makes puzzles a calm, focused break that still leaves your mind feeling sharper afterwards.
The objective
Complete every goal shown at the top before you run out of moves. Goals can be clearing jelly from under the candies, collecting a number of candies of certain colours, breaking frost, reaching a score, or a mix of several. Moves you have left at the end turn into bonus points and a better star rating.
Background: where Candy Blast comes from
Candy Blast is an original Xons Play match-three puzzle game. Match-three puzzles became one of the most popular game styles in the world because the rule is tiny, swap two neighbours to make a line of three, while the decisions stay interesting for thousands of levels. Candy Blast follows that tradition with its own candies, specials and 5000 hand-tuned generated levels that get steadily harder.

The controls are the same on every level and in every mode, so once they feel natural you can focus fully on the game. Touch and mouse work identically, so switching between your phone and computer feels natural.
Your first game of Candy Blast
Press the Play button under the game title. Candy Blast loads in a few seconds and starts in full screen on phones.
Step 1. Drag a candy onto its neighbour, or tap one candy and then its neighbour, to swap them. Take your time on the first attempt and get a feel for how the game responds.
Step 2. Make a line of three or more matching candies to clear them.
Step 3. Complete the goals shown at the top before you run out of moves.
Step 4. Match 4 for a striped candy, an L or T for a wrapped candy and 5 in a row for a choco bomb.
Step 5. Earn up to three stars on each level. Your progress is saved on this device. That is the whole loop. Every game of Candy Blast follows this pattern, with new situations each time.
Remember the objective: Complete every goal shown at the top before you run out of moves. Once that is clear, every decision becomes easier, because you can ask whether a move brings you closer to it.
Candy Blast strategy
Read the goals before the first move
Jelly levels reward matches near the edges and corners where jelly hides. Collect levels reward matches of the requested colours even when a different move looks bigger. Decide what the level actually wants before you touch the board.
Make specials, then combine them
Four in a line makes a striped candy that clears a whole row or column. An L or T shape makes a wrapped candy that explodes twice. Five in a line makes a choco bomb that removes every candy of one colour. Swapping two specials together creates the biggest effects in the game.
Work from the bottom
Matches near the bottom make the whole column fall and often start chain reactions for free. Matches near the top only refill a few cells.
Break locks and frost early
Locked candies cannot move and frost blocks the cells below it. Clearing them early opens the board and gives you more possible matches later.
Save the choco bomb for the right colour
In collect levels, swap the choco bomb with the colour you still need most. In jelly levels, swap it with the colour that covers the most remaining jelly.
A closer look at Candy Blast
The biggest jump in skill in any match-three game comes from looking for shapes instead of colours. Beginners look for two candies of the same colour with a third nearby. Strong players look for places where one swap creates a four, an L or a T, because one special candy is worth several ordinary matches and two specials together can clear half the board. In Candy Blast the most powerful combinations are a striped candy with a wrapped candy, which clears three rows and three columns at once, and a choco bomb with a striped candy, which turns every candy of one colour into striped candies. Learning to set those up two or three moves ahead is what separates clearing level 300 from clearing level 3000.
Common mistakes and how to fix them
Taking the first match you see
The first match is rarely the best one. Scan the whole board for fours, Ls and Ts before you move.
Ignoring the move counter
Count how many goal items are left and how many moves you have. If you need ten jelly cells in five moves, you need specials, not single matches.
Wasting specials at the top
A striped candy fired across the top row clears very little. Set it off lower down where it also makes candies fall.
Giving up on boss levels
Every 25th level is a boss level with tougher goals and fewer spare moves. They are meant to take several tries.
Levels, difficulty and progression
There are 5000 levels. The first hundred teach one idea at a time with plenty of spare moves. Boards change shape every few levels, frost and locks appear, and every 50 levels a new world starts with new board shapes. From level 150 levels can mix several goal types, and from level 700 a sixth candy colour makes matches rarer. By the last thousand levels you have far fewer spare moves and the goals ask for long chains of specials, so only careful planning clears them. We rate Candy Blast as challenging (4 out of 5), with a typical session of 3 to 10 minutes per level.
What Candy Blast trains
Candy Blast is a puzzle game, so it is all about thinking before acting. Each level trains pattern spotting, planning, patience, and the feeling when a solution clicks is one of the best in gaming. Puzzle games are often recommended for keeping the mind active, because they ask you to hold a plan in your head, test it mentally and adjust. With sessions of 3 to 10 minutes per level, Candy Blast fits easily into a commute or a lunch break, and there is no time pressure unless you choose it.
How to practise and improve
A good habit in Candy Blast is to describe the problem in words: which piece is in the way, and what needs to move first? Breaking the puzzle into small goals makes even big boards manageable. Try solving each level twice, once to find any solution and once to find the best one. Over time you will recognise standard patterns and solve new levels much faster.
Playing on phone, tablet and computer
Candy Blast runs directly in your web browser on phones, tablets, laptops and desktop computers. There is nothing to install and no account needed. On a phone, the game adapts its controls to touch, with large buttons and swipe gestures sized for thumbs. On a computer, you can use the mouse and keyboard, which many players find more precise. Tablets give you the best of both: a big screen with touch controls. For the smoothest experience, close other heavy tabs, keep your browser up to date, and use the fullscreen button in the game bar. If you play on a phone with a small screen, turning it sideways usually gives you a wider view. The game saves your progress and best scores in your browser, so playing on the same device keeps your records.
Playing alone and sharing scores
Candy Blast is a single-player game, which means you can play at your own pace whenever you like. Your best score and progress are saved on your device, so every session builds on the last. It also makes a fun challenge to share: play a round, tell your friends your score, and see who can beat it. Many families pass a tablet around and take turns, which turns a solo game into a group activity.
Goals for every level of player
Beginner
Learn the controls and the objective, and finish a full game of Candy Blast without rushing. Make matches near the bottom of the board: falling candies often create free combos. Do not worry about winning yet; focus on understanding why things happen.
Intermediate
Start using the first two strategy ideas on this page: read the goals before the first move and make specials, then combine them. Try to avoid the common mistakes listed above, and notice when you make them.
Advanced
Combine every idea: work from the bottom and break locks and frost early. Chase a personal best you thought was out of reach, and think a step further ahead than your opponent.
Accessibility and comfort settings
Candy Blast is designed to be comfortable for as many people as possible. Every button is large enough for touch, text uses high-contrast colours on a dark background, and important information is shown with both colour and shape or text, so the game stays readable for players with colour vision differences. Sound can be switched off with the speaker button at any time, and no part of the game depends on hearing. The fullscreen button removes distractions and makes everything larger on small screens. If you prefer playing with one hand, the touch controls work with a single thumb, and most actions can also be done with a mouse or keyboard alone.
Tracking your progress
Your progress in Candy Blast is saved automatically in your browser. Your best score appears under the title on the game page, and level-based games keep your stars and unlocked levels. Because records live on this device, clearing your browser data or using private browsing will reset them. To track improvement, note your best score each week and compare. Small, steady increases are a sign that the strategies on this page are working.
