About Piano Steps
Piano Steps is a rhythm game that turns your taps into music. Glossy black tiles slide down a cream keyboard, and every tile you hit plays the next note of a famous melody: Beethoven's Ode to Joy and Fur Elise, Twinkle Twinkle Little Star and Jingle Bells. Miss a tile or tap the wrong lane and the song stops. The tempo rises as you play.
How to play
- Tap the lane of the nearest black tile, or press D, F, J and K.
- Always play the tiles in order, nearest first.
- Tapping an empty lane or letting a tile pass ends the game.
- Keep going as the speed increases.
Tips
- Keep your eyes slightly ahead of the hit line.
- On a phone, use two thumbs, one for each half of the keyboard.
- Rhythm matters more than speed: tap in time with the tiles.
