About Archery 3D
Archery 3D puts you on a sunny outdoor range with a modern recurve bow and a full ten-ring target. Press to draw the bow and watch the string come back, drag to aim with the sight, and release to shoot. Every arrow flies a real arc under gravity and drifts with the wind, the camera chases it downrange in slow motion, and it thuds into the straw and quivers where it lands. Shoot four arrows at 18 metres, three at 28 and three at 40, with stronger wind at each distance.
How to play
- Press and hold anywhere to draw the bow. On a keyboard, hold Space.
- While drawing, drag (or use the arrow keys) to move the sight onto the target.
- Release once the sight turns green, meaning a full draw, to shoot.
- The sight allows for gravity but not wind, so aim into the wind shown at the top.
- Ten arrows in three rounds. The gold centre scores 10, the outer white ring 1.
Tips
- A full draw flies flat and fast. A short draw drops low.
- Do not hold too long: after a couple of seconds at full draw your hand starts to shake.
- At 40 metres even light wind moves the arrow a long way, so aim well to the windward side.
- Watch the flags on the range: they stream the same way as the wind.
