About Tower of Hanoi
The Tower of Hanoi is a famous mathematical puzzle. Move the entire stack of rings from the left peg to another peg, never placing a larger ring on a smaller one. Each level adds a ring.
How to play
- Tap a peg to pick up its top ring.
- Tap another peg to place it.
- A ring can never be placed on a smaller ring.
Tips
- With n rings, the minimum number of moves is 2 to the power n, minus 1.
- Move the smallest ring every other move, always in the same direction.
- Plan where the largest ring must go first.
