About Nim online
Nim is an ancient mathematical game. Sticks are arranged in rows. On your turn, take any number of sticks from a single row. The player who takes the last stick wins. There is a hidden winning strategy, if you can find it.
How to play Nim on Xons Play
- Tap a stick to take it and every stick to its right in that row.
- You must take at least one stick.
- Whoever takes the last stick wins.
Tips & strategy
- Try to leave rows of equal size.
- Mathematicians use binary sums to solve Nim.
- Two equal rows means the player to move is in trouble.
